WHERE IT ALL STARTED…

My passion for photography comes from my travels, especially my travels in Asia. Since I was a kid I always wanted to travel. Luckily my parents are big travellers too, so I’ve seen a lot from the world at a very young age. I was intrigued by photography already as a kid, I was either standing in front or behind the camera. When I was 15, I got into modeling and I was living my dream: Traveling the world and visiting different cities and places for work. At one point something didn’t feel as fulfilling anymore as it did before. I found out that I missed the realness in the modeling industry and I wanted to create pictures of my own. Pictures from the places I went to and the people who belong to these places, people with interesting stories, backgrounds and cultures. That’s when I started to explore the world with my camera, searching for the most beautiful places and people. I got intrigued by the local communities wherever I went. My goal was to make a connection with these people and capture them while having conversations about life. When I take a photograph, I want to capture someone’s soul, I strongly believe that eyes are speaking louder than words and that is exactly where I want to focus on in my portraits.
